Vinyl Tile
July 16, 2009I don’t like using my front paws right now. I got some sores there because of the mange attack last week, and it hurts a little. Don’t worry though, it’s healing up pretty fast (my fur is starting to grow again) with the help of Revolution that Mom applied last Saturday. She even cleaned my paws last night with diluted povidone iodine (see this) to help it heal. I didn’t like the cleaning procedure though.
Anyway, since my paws hurt, I don’t like to run around my cage. Mom was worried that I’d go overweight (since I don’t get much exercise) so she bought me a vinyl tile last night to cover the wire grills of my cage floor.
I like my vinyl tile. I can rest my paws on it without hurting myself and it keeps me cool. I can lie down, roll, and pretty much do anything on my vinyl tile. Mom was pleased that I like it.
But this morning, Mom was surprised to find my paws and my behind wet with my pee. So I didn’t use my litter corner. Yeah, yeah, my fault. I peed and pooped on my tile (because I like it a lot Mom). She took me out of my cage and placed me on some newspaper sheets and took out the vinyl tile. Then she started rubbing me with toilet paper to remove the pee from my fur. I don’t think I’ll be getting my vinyl tile for a while. But maybe if we rearrange things on my cage…
Sorry Mom!
